Google Places API — Address Autocomplete
Powers the address search bar with real-time suggestions

What it does: When you type an address into the search bar, Google Places autocompletes it and returns a standardized address + coordinates.

Cost: $0.00 for first 28,500 requests/month (far more than you'll ever need for personal use). Credit card required to activate, but you won't be charged within the free tier.

Step-by-step setup:
  1. Go to console.cloud.google.com
  2. Click "Create Project" — name it "PropertyWiz AI" or anything you like
  3. In the left menu go to APIs & Services → Library
  4. Search for "Places API" and click Enable
  5. Also enable "Maps JavaScript API" (same process)
  6. Go to APIs & Services → Credentials
  7. Click "+ Create Credentials" → API Key"

Zillow56 API — Zestimate, Rent Estimate + Property Details
Pulls estimated property value and monthly rent estimate by address

Anthropic Claude API — PropertyWiz Property Tax Forecast
Powers intelligent tax estimation using state/county-specific methodology
Pay per use — very low cost
What it does: When you enter a property address, Claude AI analyzes the state and county to determine which tax methodology applies (SEV/Homestead model for Michigan, Prop 13 for California, percentage-of-value for others). It then forecasts your tax liability year-by-year with appropriate capping rules.

Why this matters: Property tax is one of the most mis-estimated inputs in real estate deals. Getting it wrong by even $2,000/year dramatically distorts your cash flow projections.
